Another victim of the Global Financial Crisis, this house, facing west over the mud-flats of Careel Bay sits anchored to the sandstone of the steep hillside. Designed for a couple of empty-nesters with GenY children there are three levels with the lower ground floor area capable of being closed off and forgotten when the couple are there on their own.
The solid stone base of the building partially wraps the ground floor and also serves to anchor the upper level main bedroom suite via a large sculptural chimney. The living areas face both west to the view and east to the lushly vegetated hillside and sandstone outcrops.
